This sign is a wooden frame with what originated as a “white picket fence” background, and stenciled with the city “Austin.”
After I stenciled, I deiced my painting technique to the framed background with rustic brown and burnt orange colors locally signifying the Austin, Texas personality.

This pair of 30” x 40” is an original acrylic on canvas, isolated and varnished. This piece was made with inspiration of the iconic Austin Bats whom at sunset, awake in the hundreds of thousands under the South Congress bridge in Austin, Texas.
